Garden Centre Clerks (NOC 64100)

At Fresh Market Foods, we are looking for a dependable and hardworking Garden Centre Clerks (NOC 64100) to join our seasonal team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and helping customers with their gardening needs.

Responsibilities:

• Water and care for plants, trees, and shrubs

• Stock and organize plants, soil, and garden products

• Prune, deadhead, and maintain plant health and appearance

• Assist with receiving and unpacking plant shipments

• Keep the garden center, greenhouse, and outdoor areas clean and organized

• Help customers select plants and provide basic gardening information

• Assist customers with carrying and loading purchases

• Set up and maintain plant displays

• Assist with opening and closing duties

• Operate cash register and handle payments as needed

Qualifications:

• Completion of high school or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Friendly and helpful attitude with good customer service skills

• Basic plant or gardening knowledge is an asset, but not required

• Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
