About the Job

We’re looking for a Bakery Supervisor to keep our ovens hot and our team rising! If you love fresh-baked goods, leading a crew, and keeping things smooth and sweet—this role is for you!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise bakery staff and ensure daily tasks are completed effectively and efficiently

  • Monitor product quality and consistency to meet company standards

  • Provide excellent customer service and assist with custom orders

  • Handle day-to-day department problem-solving and ensure timely resolutions

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health and safety regulations

  • Conduct sweep checks and complete documentation throughout the shift

  • Coordinate department merchandising and ensure accurate pricing and signage

  • Oversee use and maintenance of bakery equipment, collaborating with maintenance for any required repairs

  • Manage ordering of cake-decorating supplies and ensure inventory is adequately stocked

  • Monitor edible printer and cake equipment for proper function and cleanliness

  • Respond to cake and bakery order emails and ensure timely communication with customers

  • Perform additional Bakery Clerk and Baker duties as required.

 

 Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

  • Strong knowledge of bakery operations, including baking techniques, inventory management, and merchandising.

  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations; Safe Food Handling certification is an asset.

  • 1-2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a bakery or food retail environment.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in basic computer tasks related to inventory management.

Terms of Employment: Full-time, including weekends, nights and holidays

Wage/Salary: Starting at $23.00 – $25.00 per/hour (depending on experience
